The Hurricanes Football Club and Academy

Since the formation of the Youth Development Club towards the end of 2013, The Hurricanes Football Academy has become the natural place for talented youth to go if they wish to make a career out of football or enjoy the game socially. At our club, football development starts from age’s u6 through to u20.Image

We pride ourselves on offering, accredited coaches and we believe thus offering our players the best we can in coaching knowledge and experience. Many of our players have reached Kenya National Football League level, based on the professional and personal training done at our club year after year. We endeavor to assist players to further their training to the highest level possible and to continue playing for the The Hurricanes Football Club, for which we have started a Bursary fund. We also assist the older willing Imageplayers with football coaching or referee courses, to further the options in the football industry.  The vast majority of our 100+ members are from socially challenged backgrounds and communities in the Nairobi area and in most cases it is impossible for them to cover the cost of our yearly registration fee, let alone afford boots, shin pads or transport to and from the grounds and games.Image  The minimal fees we charge annually are vital and necessary for the basic running costs of the club.  Currently, the fields are provided and maintained for by The Hurricanes Football Club and Academy at Huruma Flats, Eastlands, Nairobi. Without this valuable financial aid from The Hurricanes Football Club and Academy, the corporate world, Volunteer coaches and helpful parents, we cease to exist.  Since the formation of the Youth Development Club Imagetowards the end of 2013, The Hurricanes Football Academy has become the natural place for talented youth to go if they wish to make a career out of football or enjoy the game socially.
